A Traditional Hortekan Celebratory Dance

More Skies of Arcadia art! I have wanted to do a scene like this for so long, that I just went ahead and did it! Fina, Aika, and Merida are celebrating by dancing around a fire, and a very suspicious Vyse and Isapa are watching. I wanted to leave what Vyse and Isapa are discussing mostly up to viewer interpretation. Is Vyse intrigued, or disturbed? Is Isapa plotting something, or simply yelling out lecherous comments? Heheheheheeee... the possibilities are endless!

I LOVE Aika's outfit! Designing Fina and Aika's clothes in a more traditional Horteka style was so much fun! Even Cupil has his own little leaf... thingy.

Overall, I am satisfied with the result. If I could go back and change something, I would prefer to do more cartoony shading instead of the soft, feathered look. It doesn't bother me that much, though. This whole piece was a challenge as human characters are not my favorite thing to draw. Somehow I managed to stick 5 of them in here without anything being too disproportional! Yay for progress!

The original.... is incredibly huge. This is literally 30% of it's actual size! And I don't want to know how long I spent on this. I'm just glad it's finally done!
